There are many reasons why you would want to split test an ad. What you are really trying to do is find the best audience with the best click-through rate because you would pay less for quailty traffic.

Click through rate takes the number of people you reach and divides it by the number of clicks giving you your ad cost.

The more clicks, the less cost you will pay to facebook

So, we recommend testing out different audiences at $5 a day so you can find the best audience with the best click-through rate.

Once you split test 4-5 audiences, you can then determine which has the most clicks, and scale that ad.
