What should you A/B test on your site??

There is a really robust framework to answer this question.

(In fact, we have documented it here: www.convert.com/conversion-rate-optimization/)

90% of the #cro industry subscribes to the notion of test everything and base it all on your data. Because each context is unique. Each site visitor behaves differently.

But there are some voices taking a contrarian approach. These voices don’t advocate that you rip off tests from your competitors. But they do ask you to question – does every single test you run on your site NEED to be 100% inspired by your own research?

What if there are certain tests – let’s call these conversion patterns – that have succeeded for multiple sites & brands in your space and across verticals? What if a particular UX tweak never pulls in lifts?

What if the collective wisdom of the A/B tests others are running can also inspire you? After all a big goal of #abtesting is to learn.

In case this “other” point of view interests you, we have Jakub Linowski – the man behind GOODUI, in a candid conversation with Convert. The talk covers:

✔️How Conversion Patterns are defined, evaluated and chosen
✔️One Lead Generation pattern with the highest repeatability (likelihood to perform)
✔️One Lead Generation pattern with the highest median effect
✔️One SaaS pattern with the highest repeatability
✔️One SaaS pattern with the highest median effect
✔️One eCommerce pattern with the highest repeatability
