Social media marketing and influencer marketing could be the best thing to happen your brand but often times I hear it is the worst. And often times, brands LOVE to blame the influencer.
Social media marketing can be a beast. It is hard especially with all of the misinformation out there.
If your goal is selling product then I want you to think QVC. Is your influencer able to go full on QVC on your product? Or are they hiding it in the background.
They have to be comfortable asking for the sale. If you are a social media manger take notes because this is key to your influencer marketing strategy.
Content marketing has become so weak and hidden. You often hear “it needs to look organic” in an attempt for influencers to hide that they are advertising. While this is very aesthetically pleasing, it fails to help you as a brand. It is so hidden the audience continues to scroll.
What you need is a social media influencer who can stand up for your product and sell your product.
While it may not be as pretty, “buy this product because I love it and it helps me x” works so much better than a hidden ad.
This works with instagram marketing, pinterest marketing, tiktok marketing, and what ever other type of platform you want because this is SALES. And always, videos are better than pictures.
